Abramchuk Fedir Ivanovych, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. Abramchuk Fedir Ivanovych was born in 1948 in the village of Soshychno, Kamin-Kashyrskyi District, Volyn Region, Ukrainian SSR. In 1972, he graduated from Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute, Faculty of Transport Engineering, specializing in "Internal Combustion Engines." He has been working at the Automotive Faculty of Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University (KhNAHU) since 2002. He defended his Ph.D. dissertation in 1978 on the topic: "Investigation of Non-Stationary Heat Conductivity of a Piston in a High-Speed, Turbocharged Tractor Engine." In 1993, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Fundamentals of Improving Thermal Fatigue and Long-Term Strength of Pistons in High-Speed, Turbocharged Diesel Engines."
